Did you know?

Over 55% of family and domestic violence related sexual assault victims are females aged between 10-24 years.

Where does a young girl go for support?

Especially if she faces homelessness as a result!

Our Why

Australia has a serious problem, and our community must step up for young victims of domestic, sexual and family violence.

The latest ABS statistics underscore the urgent need for targeted prevention strategies and support systems, especially for young females.

    • There were 36,318 victims of sexual assault during 2023 in Australia, marking an 11% increase from last year

    • 55.8% of female victims were aged 10-24 at time of sexual assault

    • The largest increase at 19% was in NSW, up 2,296 victims

    • 39% (14,059 victims) of all sexual assault incidents were family domestic violence related

Every survivor deserves to be believed, supported, and empowered.

Sadly, sexual assault is only the tip of the iceberg.  The number of young women living under family violence conditions, as well as those already in coercive-controlled or abusive relationships is staggering.

AS A COMMUNITY WE CAN'T IGNORE THIS!

THE QUEEN BEE PROJECT INC’s mission is to help young women experiencing domestic, sexual, or family violence to heal.  We will do this by embracing, enlightening, and empowering them on a Pathway to Healing.

We Need Your Support

The key to our positive impact is developing a client-focused, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate and evidence-based "Pathway to Healing".

The Pathway to Healing program will underpin the very basis of The Queen Bee Project Inc.’s existence and will serve to guide every young female victim in desperate need of its support.

A self-paced steppingstone program that not only provides the necessary mental health support but everything else in between to guide them towards a fulfilling life that is not defined by their trauma.

This is where we desperately need the financial assistance of our community.

All donations, large and small, are greatly appreciated.
